I am a Registered Dietitian. I work in Mental Health and help people better their lives through nutrition. I love to talk about food and health.

I consider myself a home cook. I’m not fancy. I cook healthy and good food for my and my family. Rachael Ray was my first food hero. I’ve been watching Food Network since I was 11.


I read…and read….and read….on the beach preferably (but poolside will do)

I’m Michigan born and raised. I have my degree from Michigan State University. Win or lose, I love my Detroit Tigers.

Weekends are when I feel inspired. They are a time for talking, sharing, thinking, planning and cooking. That’s where my blog’s namesake came from. I want to share about life with you…on the weekends.
