I thought it would be fun to write a post about my grocery shopping trip and what I did with what I bought! I try really hard to only go shopping every 2 weeks. I’ll do a meal plan before I head to the store and pick up what I need for recipes we as well as staples like fruit, milk and string cheese. (P.S check out that adorable USA bag from my BFF.)
Planning out meals for the week saves me a ton of time during the week and helps cut down on frivolous buying at the store. It also helps me save money because I am ONLY buying what I need for the cooking I plan to do. I usually plan 4-5 meals per week and then the other days I will eat leftovers or more likely eggs on a sandwich or scrambled. On the weekends I tend to eat smaller meals throughout the day or go out with friends/ family.
So here is what I bought!
Produce:
Bananas
Apples
Mangos
Clementines
Carrots
Potatoes

Check back next week to find out what I did with all of this food (and maybe what I shouldn’t have bought)!
